Design
With attention to shape, colour and comfort, the Fiat Qubo makes an all-round impressive ride. It may be considered a compact MPV, but it’s surprisingly spacious inside and incredibly versatile – with a 16-seat set up allowing you to fold or remove seats to suit your needs.
The 330 litre boot can be extended to a whopping 2,500 litres – and with plenty of headroom, double sliding side doors and an expansive windscreen, you’ll get great visibility as well as a roomy ride.
Features
There’s three trims to choose from with the Fiat Qubo – Active, Mylife and Trekking. The standard spec comes with all the essentials you’ll need, including electric front windows, remote locking and a CD player – as well as Start&Stop technology.
If you’re willing to splash a little extra cash, the Mylife model will add air conditioning, a leather steering wheel with audio controls, an MP3 socket, Bluetooth connectivity and 15 inch alloy wheels. For those in the market for a more robust ride to take on tough terrain, the Trekking trim has front bumper protection, side mouldings and a Traction+ control system.
Performance & Handling
The Fiat Qubo has been designed with versatility in mind, meaning it’s as at home in the city as it is out on the open road. Coming equipped with soft suspension, quick steering and decent grip, the Qubo also gets very little cabin noise.
The engine line up consists of a 72bhp 1.4 litre petrol that returns 43mpg, and two 1.3 litre diesel options – with either a 74bhp or 94bhp output. The diesels naturally return better fuel economy figures, and claimed CO2 emissions of just 103g/km with the 1.3 litre Dualogic will keep running costs low.
